Quiet double room in middle of Penrith

Welcome to my 4-storey Victorian townhouse on a stylish square in the middle of Penrith, a few minutes walk from the train station. Penrith is on the coast to coast route, and is well connected for public transport from London, and M6 en-route to Scotland. Walking or cycling in the Lake District is very manageable from here, including by public transport. I provide an inclusive light breakfast. There is secure place for bikes and I can assist with short-term parking permit. The space Your room is on the top floor of our family home. Although not absolutely huge, it is quiet with a comfy double bed and a private bathroom across the hall. To feel home from home, you have access to the rest of our house including the kitchen/diner area. Please note that being a town-house, there are quite a few stairs. Guest access Feel free to use the public parts of our house - the TV, piano, open fire and comfy sofas in the living rooms, plus the spacious and stylish kitchen/diner area downstairs. I offer a light breakfast (toast or cereal) in the price but can prepare a full cooked breakfast if you want to get ready for a full day's walking (for a cash donation). You can make yourself drinks in the kitchen if you want, and I am happy to share our evening meal with you to make you feel home from home (£6pp cash) which can be vegetarian, vega or slimming world friendly. I have a lockable shed with space for a couple of bikes. During your stay I will try to help you out as much as I can when you are staying - whether that is suggestions of things to do, good cycle routes or fells to walk. I usually am around to greet you when you arrive and make sure you have settled in. I also have a key safe so that you can have more freedom and can come and go as you please.
