Lonscale is nestled in the grounds of the Educational Environmental Blencathra Field Centre, one mile from the village of Threlkeld in the north of the Lake District National Park. With panoramic views of the surrounding fells this traditional slate and stone building makes for an ideal place for a holiday or short break. Inside, Lonscale is modern and spacious with 9 en-suite bedrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining/social area with Wi-Fi, a drying room and outdoor patio area. Other things to note Although bed lining is provided, this is given as a bedding pack that requires you to make any beds. Please note, this building has motion sensitive lighting in the toilets, corridors and kitchen, which are not possible to disable, e.g. for those observing the Sabbath.
