The Poppies ~ beautiful Gloucestershire Farm

Welcome to The Poppies at Middletown Farm - Set in the middle of The Cotswolds, The Malvern Hills, the Forest of Dean and The Wye Valley with uniterupted country views. Nearby towns of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Ross on Wye, Malvern and Newent make for great days out. Middletown is a chemical free working farm where Jacob sheep and geese are ethically bred and raised, apple juice is produced and there is a farm shop selling a selection of local produce and artisan gifts. The space The Poppies is available as a 1 bed or 2 and sleeps up to 4 people with the option for an additional zed bed, if required. Both bedrooms have luxuriously comfortable superkingsize beds, chest of drawers, wardrobe, dressing table and an arm chair and both with en suite bathrooms Please note that you have to go through Bedroom 1 to get to bedroom 2. The second bedroom will be closed off for stays of 2 guests or less unless booked & requested. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, slow cooker and dishwasher and dining table looking over the private garden. The comfortable lounge has two double sofas, a tv and is perfect for relaxing, cosy evenings. The cottage is beside its own parking space and has a well maintained private garden with garden furniture. Guest access The cottage is on the farm just a short distance from the main farmhouse. The gardens are very pretty and have a fishpond with a small fountain and waterfall. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the gardens and meet the lovely friendly animals in the paddocks. Other things to note The are many lovely and interesting places to visit, gorgeous walks with spectacular views of the scenery and local pubs with good food and roaring log fires to enjoy. Treat yourself to a luxurious romantic break with your loved one. You can enjoy a superbly equipped romantic cosy cottage and drive together through the enchanting Forest of Dean. You may even recognise areas that have been used for filming; for example, Harry Potter, Merlin, Dr Who, The Huntsman and Star Wars The Force Awakens.
