Self-contained Mountain-top Retreat
Description
Bwthyn Bach (little cottage) is our beautiful, self-contained studio, boasting incredible sunset views of the Brecon Beacons and Pen-y-Fan from your bedside. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway, with patio and garden facilities accessible. Breakfast basics are included with fresh eggs from our hens when available Please be aware that this is only accessible by a single tarmac track that winds up the mountain. Access in the winter can be limited. The space Lie in bed and be mesmerised by the wonderful views 😀 You will have sole use of our beautiful annex studio room called Bwthyn Bach which has everything you’ll need for a short or longer stay including kitchenette and spare pull out futon bed which turns into a single bed next to the comfy double bed ( if you need this spare bed made up please let me know in advance so I can make sure everything is ready for you ) this is a studio so if the spare bed is needed, it is set up next to the double bed. Guest access You will have private access to Bwthyn Bach ( little cottage ) which is a self contained studio room above my detached garage. It has fantastic views through a huge triangular window to the Brecon Beacons from one side and Forest mountain views from the other side. Guests have use of a large garden/ patio / bbq area and there is a designated space with table and chairs and outdoor seating. Because of our remote location we advise you keep an eye on weather conditions in winter months as if it’s snowy or icy the road up here can be impassable by car.. in winter months you would also be able to have private access to a sauna room in a stone outbuilding in the garden for a small additional fee , just message me if you’re interested 😊 Other things to note We have ducks and chickens . We also have horses and are happy for you to bring your horse on holiday for a small additional fee. The moors are on our doorstep so offers fantastic hacking ... We have 2 dogs which are kept separate from guests Please be aware that this is only accessible via a single track tarmac road that winds you up through the woods to the top of the mountain . We are not on mains water here. All water is harvested and goes through a uv filtration system therefore the water is safe to drink and I find it much nicer than mains water as it’s pure water. Please can you be mindful of water usage especially in dry summer months 😊
