The property is 3.4 km from Cork city centre and has a large private back garden. Access to the city is via 208 bus, taxi, car or via foot on a downhill walk through historic Montenotte along the Middle Glanmire Rd to St Luke's. The airport is a taxi ride away, it is about 15-20 minutes - 16 KM. The space The property is situated in a mature neighbourhood Mayfield. The house has been extensively refurbished so guests will be able to enjoy a fresh ambience to the entire house. The house has 2 double bedrooms with double beds and a single bedroom with a single bed and the house accommodates 5 people very comfortably. The bathroom is a luxury shower room with non-slip shower tray and underfloor heating. There is a SMALL COMPACT KITCHEN equipped with electric cooker, fridge, washer/dryer, glasses, microwave and tableware - but NO DISHWASHER and NO FREEZER. There is an adjacent dining room with extendable table and chairs. A separate lounge is furnished with armchairs, couch and a smart TV on a swing out arm with all regions DVD player. The house benefits from a new gas central heating system, double glazing through out and hot water supplied on demand. ACCESS TO CITY BUS - The house is serviced by a very regular bus route 208 in to the city and very close to the ring road and N8 and nearby taxi rank. There are bus stops on the street, up the road and down the road on the same side as the house that has the city bound service. TAXI - There is a taxi rank down the hill around the corner, also there is a local taxi hire company Sun Cabs. WALK - The house is a downhill 40 minute walk to Cork City through historic Montenotte along the Middle Glanmire Rd to St Luke's. It is an ideal base for those who want to explore all that Cork City and the surrounding area have to offer with beaches and airport short drives away. Cork Airport is a 20 minute drive travelling via the tunnel or the city, it is just over 16 KM away. Linen and Towels provided. Guest access There is a large garden front and back. Off road parking available for 2 cars with ample free street parking alongside the house. The house has a phone landline available for free incoming calls and outgoing calls will need to be paid for. Other things to note 1) CHECK-IN TIME might be in the evening if we have had guests check out earlier that day. We do our best to accommodate your times. 2) The KITCHEN IS VERY SMALL - there is NO DISHWASHER and NO FREEZER. 3) The DRIVEWAY ACCESS is narrow and you need to proceed and reverse with caution, it is recommended the mirrors are in the "in" position. There is also free street parking. 4) There are NO WARDROBES in the bedrooms. 5) Linen and towels are included in the price.
