Surrounded by 6 acres of beautiful New Mexican landscape, this property is perfect for both our most adventurous guests as well as those who want to unwind and escape from reality. The space Sunrise: at the dOme At the edge of the charming towns of Taos and Arroyo Seco, minutes from the Taos ski basin, a unique vacation home awaits you. Glorious views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range await you, with sunsets that shimmer purple and crimson on the mountains. The dOme is a stunning, recently renovated geometric structure that has was completely transformed by a noted Colorado architect, Taos craftsmen, and its visionary owner. Here you will enjoy two bedrooms, a large sleeping loft, luxurious bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen, a separate dining room with soaring beamed ceilings, a living room with bar, an efficient woodburning stove, travertine floors, a deep warming sauna room, and a hot tub on site. All rooms provide guests with amazing views. No detail has been spared in creating a unforgettable and enchanting vacation home. This is a gated secure property of two acres, one of which is pasture with a corral. If your pet is a horse, you can bring it along. A beautiful creek that shimmers in the sunlight winds across the perimeter of the property. We recently installed a brand new hot tub next to a masterpiece of an outdoor fireplace. Find yourself in a state of zen as you wind up the serpentine steps to the sunset viewing deck. Rest at each of the landings to soak in the metal art sculptures along the walk up to the main deck. We also just added 2 professional disc golf baskets onto the field for you to practice your throw. There are so many amazing features around this property! You will never be bored! We invite you to our private gated home on two acres located at the 3 mile marker off State Road 150 (aka Ski Valley Road) between the town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley. The home has two bedrooms (king beds in each bedroom). A spiral staircase in the corner of the living room brings you to a large loft that has a queen bed and a euro-lounge that opens to a full size bed. The home can sleep 6 very comfortably (and more if we have a conversation ahead). The base rate is for 4 people and $20 a night more for each additional person. The gorgeous main bathroom has double sinks, a separate shower with mountain views, and a single jacuzzi bath tub. The master suite has a kitchenette, exquisite bathroom with double sinks, a separate shower, and a hot tub style bathtub for two. There is a laundry room with full size front loading machines. Hydro solar panels provide some of the hot water for the house and add to the sustainability of this special home. Kitchen is fully equipped with a large kitchen bar. I am a 'foodie' so you will find all you need to cook up that gourmet meal you love making...from the seasonings to the oils all are provided for your usage. There is a formal dining room where you will find an incredible mountain view and stylish furnishings that sits up to 10. The main dOme space is your living area with a large flat screen TV, a wood burning stove, and lots of sitting area. A dry bar with all assortments of wine, beer, and cocktail glasses are provided for your entertaining needs. Feel the radiate heat from the floor as you mosey along the living room floor. Near the living room you'll find a full size sauna to warm up and relax your muscles after a day of hiking, rafting or making ski/snowboard turns on the mountain. Guest access The dOme house is located on a private and gated property. A key lock box code and gate code will be provided to guests after confirming their reservation. There are two other rental units on the 6 acre property. One unit is called Stella Blue and the other is the Suite at Sunrise. These units are about 200 ft away from the main home and do not share the same amenities as the main home.
