Amazing says it all Moosepines Lodge is Perfect
Relaxing in the peaceful woods of Northern Maine is the goal here at Moosepines Lodge. Our Main Lodge is spacious & beautifully decorated. Perfect for a romantic retreat, family gathering or outings with friends. The beautiful Piscataquis river is located at the back of the property w/ a marked walking path. Enjoy winter & summer activities here like hiking the Borestone..close to Moosehead Lake, Greenville & Monson! ATV, Snowmobile trail access from the house. The driveway will be shared by one other small cabin rental (be aware they also may have snowmobiles) but each will have completely separate parking areas. The house looks and feels like a big open cabin on the inside. You have the whole space to yourselves to enjoy. There is one bedroom downstairs with a private bath, another bedroom upstairs also with a private bath, and the third bedroom is a loft which has two twin beds. There is a bathroom on the main floor that can be used by all. The single bed in the "common space" is a folding single bed that we only provide when guest parties are seven and is an additional $30 person/night. We provide all linens. You are free to use the pellet stove if you'd like. Feel free to roam around the property. We have over 5 forested acres with river frontage. Get out and explore! There is a quiet camp road that goes into the back of the property that makes a nice walk. There are two garages on the property which will be locked. We use the garages for grounds maintenance and other projects for the property so you may see us entering them on occasion or working throughout the property. We have a nice single folding bed that is available for an additional charge if you would like different sleeping arrangements. Send us a message if you would like to know more. We are available 24/7 by call or text. If you have emergency please call 911. Abbot Maine and surrounding areas are an outdoor paradise! Snowmobile, ski, snowshoe, attend a dogsled race, icefish, hike, swim, canoe, kayak and sight see are just some of the activities to do in the area. Greenville, home of iconic Moosehead Lake, is a 20 minute drive north, historic and charming Monson is 10 minutes away. There is a dining guide in the guest binder to these towns. Also in the binder are pamphlets to a few local attractions of the area. Piper Pond is only two miles down the road with a public beach and boat landing and ice fishing in the winter. Also check out Barrows Falls four miles down the road! We are fairly remote but only about 5 miles to the nearest grocery store, drug store and gas station. Feel free to enjoy our outdoor fire pits and seating by the river.
