Chambre "Colette" is warm and snug and quiet (that is, until the 7 o'clock church bells). The bed (120 cm wide) is an antique double bed from the old convent - ideal for a large person as it is 30 cm wider than a standard single bed. But as an antique double it is also workable for a slim (or amorous) couple - add 10€ for the second person). Flooring is oak throughout including in the very contemporary bathroom. The space Le Logis is a converted village inn in a delightful riverine village in west central France - just 2 1/2hrs due south of Paris by train (TGV) or 3 1/2hrs by car. After more than three years of renovations, Le Logis is now a village townhouse offering elegant bed and breakfast accommodation with a relaxed and informal setting - three suites and two ensuite bedrooms . Le Logis is ideal as a base for exploring the region as there are sights (and sites) to see to cater for all interests - charming, picturesque villages sites on the numerous rivers of the Vienne; medieval architecture, Roman abbeys, ancient fortified mountain cities; early Christian burial sites and pagan monoliths.
