Description
Priego is located in a privileged enclave at the gateway to the Serranía de Cuenca. Surrounded by deep gorges, rugged mountains, and the crystal-clear waters of its three rivers (Escabas, Guadiela, and Trabaque), it has a vast historical, cultural, and artisan heritage of ceramics and wicker. Another of its charms is the proximity of the Alto Tajo Natural Park, the Roman City of Ercávica, the Roman Villa of Noheda, the Solán de Cabras Spa and Cuenca (a World Heritage Site).
