Our Grade II listed traditional Welsh cottage is situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National Park, offering a relaxing stay and a true opportunity to experience nature in luxury. Located on a working hill farm guests can find excellent way-marked walks that start right from the door with direct mountain walking access. Traditional charm and a warm Welsh welcome guaranteed! The space Set on a working sheep farm, surrounded by stunning mountain views from the doorstep, our cottage is located in the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National Park with direct access to the Black Mountains, where ample walks or bike rides can be taken. The famous 4 waterfall walk in Ystradfallte is only 25 minutes away. Brecon town is 35 minutes away, as are Swansea and Cardiff. Henglyn is an ideal place to base yourself whilst exploring this fabulous location. Children will enjoy a trip to Dan-yr-Ogof Caves and there is plenty of history in the surrounding area, including the 13th-century Carreg Cerren Castle. After all the excitement of exploring the area, relax in the garden and unwind in the private hot tub. Beach 16 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles. Guest access Guests are guaranteed peace of mind with off street secure, CCTV monitored parking. Guests have access to their very own private decking and garden area where their only neighbours are sheep! Other things to note Please note that the stairs are quite steep.
