Beech Lodge is a cosy, modern retreat on Overwater Marina on the Shropshire Union Canal, just a short walk from Audlem. Sleeps four with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, open-plan living and private deck. Dog friendly, with scenic canal walks and an onsite cafe'. Peaceful, comfy and full of thoughtful touches The space The lodge is bright, modern and super cosy – ideal for couples, friends or families. There are two bedrooms: one king-size with an ensuite (complete with a fab rainfall shower), and a second twin room with its own separate bathroom. Both offer comfy beds, quality linen and those extra touches that help you settle in and feel right at home. The open-plan living area is spacious but snug, with large patio doors, comfy seating and a kitchen that’s got everything you need to rustle up a proper meal. There’s also a private deck where you can sit and watch the boats or enjoy the variety of birds and water fowl who wander freely around the marina. - perfect for your morning cuppa or a chilled-out evening glass of wine. One guest told us, “We loved watching the marina wake up each morning - it’s so peaceful and calm.” We’re also very happy to welcome well-behaved dogs. There is a fenced secure dog exercise field right here on the marina. There are loads of brilliant walks straight from the door, with canal towpaths, rolling countryside and dog-friendly pubs all nearby. The walk into Audlem takes about 20 minutes along the water and is really lovely - the village has everything you might need, including independent shops, a great local butcher, and a couple of quality pubs.
