Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is an river in the grounds, a 3-4 minute walk away .The name Herons rest comes from the lovely resident heron which can be seen often at the river a 3-4 minute walk away. Wi Fi speed is 31mbps download and 12.7mbps upload April 2024. The space Fully private self contained Cottage, it could have been called squirrel cottage as some times a squirrel feeds from the bird feeders out side the cottage there is a private out side seating area where you can enjoy views of the local area .The Cottage is near the Loch Ness Monster centres and Urquhart Castle. Cruises on Loch Ness available locally. Drumnadrochit is ideally situated for day trips to Fort William, Glencoe, Isle of Skye, Ullapool and the Cairngorms. Also a popular area for hill walking and mountain biking with the Great Glen Way and Cycle Trails available locally.
