Cozy, pet friendly, cottage with private fenced yard within walking distance of bustling North Park entertainment/dining options, leash free dog park, Balboa Park and Morley Field sights and activities. The space 424 sq ft detached cottage in the heart of the historical North Park neighborhood, currently enjoying a renaissance in nightlife, dining, and brewing. The main house and this mother in law cottage were built in 1918. The cottage has a private entrance with a lockable fenced yard, perfect for traveling with your furry friend. The bathroom has towels, mats, as well as some bath extras-swabs, cotton balls, floss picks, razors, Epsom salts, hair dryer. Extra linens for the sofa bed are in the bedroom closet (two pillows, set of sheets, and duvet). Also, in the closet are an iron/ironing board, beach towels/sheet, and dog towels, if Fido needs a bath. A complimentary dog toy is waiting for your furry companion in a treat jar tucked away under the microwave, as well as a mat for their food/water bowls. If you are traveling with a pet, please let me know ahead of time, the size and type, etc. Guest access As a freestanding cottage, you will have a fully equipped kitchen; pots, pans, dishes, glasses, flatware, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, toaster oven and rudimentary kitchen essentials (spices, condiments, tea, sweetener, creamer, coffee/coffeemaker). There is also a full 3 piece bath with a toilet, sink, and tub/shower. Outdoors in the shaded yard is a 3 cushion outdoor sofa with a couple of side tables, a bistro table and two chairs, a propane barbecue ( grilling tools are in the kitchen), fire pit, and festival lighting (remote control in the desk).
