Large Guesthouse with Private Dock & Marsh Views

This newly built carriage house is separate from the main house. The cottage is about 1,200 sqft so it very open and spacious and great views of marsh and our tidal creek. We have a separate work area with desk and a massive dinning table if you need more room to work or to gather with friends. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, massive shower, the list goes on. You may not want to leave! Feel free to go sit and have coffee or cocktails on the dock. PERMIT# OP2025-06925 The space When you walk in, you will immediately feel the clean, spacious and welcoming space with large windows and great views of the marsh, tidal creek, palm trees and live oaks with Spanish moss (classic Charleston). It features a huge primary bedroom with a King memory foam bed, percale sheets, down blanket, top blanket and several different pillows of your choosing. The living room has a queen memory foam sleeper sofa with the same sheets and blankets as the king. We want everyone staying to be as comfortable as possible. The kitchen has full-size stainless steel appliances and everything you need to operate a proper kitchen. The quartz countertops flow beautifully into a cascading waterfall on the peninsula to continue the clean and modern mid-century vibe. Our bathroom follows the same feeling as the rest of the guesthouse with a large shower and large adjacent walk in closet. Check out is as easy as 1-2-3. Just place your used towels in the hamper and we will take care of the rest! Less than 7 miles to downtown, you are a straight shot right down highway 17! This is a very centrally located cottage in Charleston not too far from anywhere with easy access to 526 and 17! We are located: 1.5 miles from the entrance to 526 state highway 3.5 miles to Whole Foods & Starbucks Less than 7 miles from downtown Charleston Less than 10 miles to Charleston International Airport and Tanger Outlets Just over 14 miles to Folly Beach Just over 15 miles to Sullivan’s Island and beach 27 miles to Kiawah Island and beach Guest access This is a guest cottage so it is located at the back of our property. When you arrive, you will see the parking spot out front (room for 2 cars) with a gravel path leading you straight to the guest house. The guest suite is located above a garage with a private inside stairwell. We will provide you with a code to access the main door and you will have your own door to lock at the top of the stairs. We will have a beach cart you can use to put your luggage in to bring from you car as well as if you do go to the beach you can use it too! We have beach chairs, towels, umbrella and cart to use at your convenience. Other things to note Our family does live on the property. We want to be as accommodating as possible, early check in, need to keep luggage a little longer, etc just let us know and we will do our best!
