Fujisawa is very convenient location when you're arriving from Haneda / Narita airport. Sightseeing to Tokyo, and You can quickly moving to Kyoto / Osaka direction by Shinkansen. Neighbour touristic area: Enoshima island: Fujisawa is coastal town. Enoshima island connected by bridge with the mainland. shrine, many souvenir shops, and Enoshima Aquarium is near the coast. Kamakura city: the city was political center of Japan when 12 century reign by Shogun. Looks like little Kyoto in Eastern Japan. Many old temples and historical monuments.
