You are booking the whole property but space is divided into TWO detached dwellings the 1st providing kitchen, living, twin room (2 single beds), double bedroom. Shower room. The 2nd dwelling offers King size bed, en-suite bathroom and big living area. The space Although set in a rural or semi rural location the property has easy access to highways serving Cheltenham (festival) (20 mins drive), Gloucester (15 mins). The Malvern Hills are an essential visit during your stay. They offer remarkable view for walking, road cycling and mountain biking, running and picnics. The cottage enjoys a completely private spacious garden which is not overlooked by neighbours. It’s a very relaxing area but also spacious enough to play ball games and enjoy yourselves. It is well equipped for inside/outside merged living. PLEASE NOTE:-THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE and respectful enjoyment of the property is essential. In the evenings noise levels must be kept to a minimum so other homeowners can enjoy this peaceful area. PLEASE NO OUTSIDE NOISE TO BE HEARD AFTER 10PM. If you feel there is a possibility of you or your guests becoming over excited and causing a nuisance for my neighbours then please do not book my cottage. The hot tub is great for relaxing after a walk in the hills and the pizza oven great for delicious stone baked pizzas in moments. The log burner in the Main building is gorgeous for chilly days. Due to the log burner’s contemporary design it’s not possible to fit a fireguard, therefore if you have young children or are in any way concerned, you may prefer not to use this feature, or only light the fire once little ones have gone to bed. Logs for both the log burner and the pizza oven are provided. BUT PLEASE NOTE:- They are in a shed in the garden. Although you’re extremely welcome to make use of these there is a degree of pro-activity required and you may need to battle with spiders! Therefore you may prefer to bring your own purpose cut and dried firewood .......either way it’s a good idea to pack some FIRELIGHTERS and possibly kindling wood too. Unfortunately we are not on a bus route so you will need a car. There are lovely walks around the local area. Getting around You will need a car as we are not on a bus route. We do have local taxi firms but they would need pre booking. Guest access You would be booking the whole property. Other things to note The accommodation is in a rural or semi rural area and the nearest town is Ledbury or Tewkesbury both of which are a 10 minute drive away. Eldersfield does not have its own amenities, although it is extremely accessible (by car or bike) to plenty. There is a small village shop in Pendock approximately 3 miles away. Many guests make use of supermarket delivery. Tesco always seems to be a popular choice although any major supermarket would also deliver. St. George’s Bakery is very good (approximately 5 min drive) and sells delicious bakery items plus milk, drinks and picnic snack type of items. A number of guests have organised supermarket deliveries timed to their arrival. If you have a confirmed booking I can provide full delivery address for such deliveries. Updated 2nd October 2021:- We now have decent Broadband. The annex is main wired but slightly slower than the main building therefore the Netflix in the annex can initially be slow to load. Depending on your telephone network phone reception inside the property can be problematic. WhatsApp works well. Unfortunately we are not on a bus route so you will need a car. There are lovely walks around the local area.
