Baita del Tonego - 10 minutes from the ski slopes

Baita del Tonego is an old family farmhouse,once used as a barn-stable, now renovated while preserving its original character. You will spend your holiday surrounded by nature,immersed in the greenery around the chalet,with a stunning view over the valley below and the Presanella mountain range. It can be easily reached with a small road about 300 m long (in case of snow,it is accessible on foot).The chalet is 10 minutes from the ski slopes of Passo del Tonale and 15 minutes from Marilleva 900. The space The chalet takes its name from the family nickname and was used until the 1960s as a transitional stable in spring and autumn. In summer it was used for storing hay from the surrounding meadows, and in autumn for sheltering the farmanimals returning from the summer pastures. Once the hay was finished, the animals were moved back to the village. Although close to the town of Vermiglio, the chalet is in a very quiet location surrounded by nature. Set on a natural terrace at 1,300 m, it offers a breathtaking view of the valley, while in front, lifting your yes, you can admire the majestic Presanella, the highest peak in Trentino. The first complete renovation took place in 2007, followed by another in 2021, both carried out with respect for tradition but adding all the modern comforts needed to make the chalet as it appears today. Outside, you’ll find a sunny garden where you can enjoy barbecues or relax on the loungers provided. Entering on the ground floor, you’ll notice the perfectly restored wood-burning stove next to the sofa bed, where you can watch TV and warm up after a day on the slopes. The rustic-style kitchen is equipped with an electric kettle, induction hob, microwave, oven, and toaster; in the corner there’s a large table for group meals, while behind the entrance door you’ll find the fridge and washing machine. Also on the ground floor, there is a spacious bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet, and a comfortable shower.
