The space This is one of two guest quarters in a historic New Orleans Spanish-style home. Built in 1849, this apartment features high ceilings, a claw-foot bathtub, an efficiency kitchen, a queen-size bed, a record player, an Amazon Firestick, and many original details. This second-floor walk-up overlooks a private courtyard. Covid-19 Update: We are now offering no-contact check-in. This apartment has it's own AC/heating unit, assuring you will not be exposed to air from the rest of the house. A five minute walk to the Mississippi River or Frenchmen St. A 10-minute walk to the French Quarter. Near many excellent bars and restaurants. Guest access Guests have privacy and their own entrance to the street. Other things to note -- TV has an Amazon Firestick for access to Amazon Video and Netflix. There is an antenna for basic TV. There is no cable TV. -- There is potential for occasional street noise, mostly on busy weekends or holidays. A white-noise machine is provided. -- This is a second-floor walk-up.
