Oxala House: Zanzibar Bungalow - Sea and Serenity

Oxala House is an activist residence for alternative tourism. It is also a charming residence with typical architecture, well integrated in its green setting, 700 m from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. It benefits from direct sea views, a friendly swimming pool and 2000m² of gardens. Oxala House offers self-catering accommodation fully equipped to live immersed in its local environment while being independent. The space Our residence was designed as a foot of the mass tourism with its galloping variation "The All-Inclusive"... a provocation to the nodonte in its own crib: Djerba! Other things to note Oxalá House is located on the island of Djerba (Odyssey Lotophage Island?), south of Tunisia. More specifically, the residence is located in the Sidi-Mehrez area, 20 minutes from Djerba-Zarzis International Airport, 8 km from the capital of the island (Houmt-Souk) famous for its fishing port, souks and goldsmiths, and 7 km from the typical village of Midoun. We do not provide catering on site at this time. The idea is to help (push) our visitors blend in (by possibly doing, with our help, their shopping, their cuisine...) and to ask for local services (to have selected people from the area work), while remaining completely independent. Restaurants are also available within a radius of 3-4 km. For shopping, there is a small grocery store about 400 m away, as well as a supermarket 1 km away. For big shopping, the idea would be to go shopping in a medium area in Houmt-Souk. For fruits/vegetables, there is also the weekly market in Houmt-Souk and Midoun (8 km from the residence)
