Set on a private estate of 1.5 hectares — with flowers, fruit trees and rolling meadows — this is a place where life slows down, meals are rich, and the stars rule the night sky. This is not a holiday house where people pass each other in silence. This is a place where you cook together, linger at the table, count stars from your bed, and find each other by the fire. ⸻ A home with character In the spacious shared living area, you’ll sink into a comfortable sofa while the wood stove crackles in the background. In the evening, project your favourite film with the beamer and let time melt into laughter, stories, and good wine — late into the night by the firelight. The generous kitchen invites you to cook with regional ingredients, gather around a long table filled with Burgundy dishes, and share stories, glasses, and moments. Connection happens naturally here. ⸻ Sleeping under the stars There are multiple bedrooms with space for 10–12 guests, including one with a private ensuite bathroom. And an owl on the attic beam staring us down. Do you know what you’re getting into? We began. With trial and error, laughter and love. Twenty years later, Le Bois de Lépine has become a place that connects generations. A house where children now return with their own friends. A house that shaped us — and is ready to welcome you too. ⸻ Guest access Doing laundry during your stay is always nice, we have also reserved a space where you can wash, tumble-dry and iron, this is at the front of the house.
