Casa Pacifica offers two private guest rooms and two shared baths within about a 10-minute drive to everything Santa Barbara has to offer. Perfect for the traveling professional looking for a furnished room while they're here for work. We're just an 8-minute drive to Cottage Hospital Santa Barbara, so it's perfect for travel nurses! The space Your private room with a queen-size bed and a memory foam mattress is perfect for a single traveler. There are two shared baths – one with a shower and the other with a tub. The room is equipped with a 32-inch flat-screen television with Netflix and Amazon Prime, a Keurig coffee maker, a mini-fridge, and filtered water. Your storage will be limited to the closet in the bedroom, but there is ample closet space as well as a dresser, two nightstands, and shelves. The house is older but very clean with hardwood floors throughout. The decor is thoughtful and cozy, and there is a nice backyard garden to soak up the Santa Barbara sunshine. There is parking in front of our house for one vehicle per guest. Convenient uptown location close to banks, grocery stores (Whole Foods, Gelson's, Bristol Farms, Trader Joe's, Smart & Final, Grocery Outlet), movie theater, bike store, restaurants, YMCA, CorePower Yoga, and Golds Gym (among others). The nearest beach is Arroyo Burro (2 miles away), and the mountains are 1.5 miles away. Walking distance to Stevens Park. Guest access Preferred check-in is between 3pm and 9pm, but if you need to check-in earlier or later, please let me know in advance. On the initial check-in, I prefer to meet my guests in person. As a guest in my home, I want you to feel comfortable, but please be respectful that this a private home with personal items. You are welcome to enjoy our shared living spaces as we do, but we ask that guests please clean up after themself. During your stay I like to give guests privacy, so will only interact as much as the guests prefer. I work from home and can usually be found working at my standup desk in the dining room or on the patio. I love helping first-timers to Santa Barbara find the best restaurants, hidden gems, and incredible experiences, so I'm happy to answer any questions or offer suggestions on places to visit. There will likely be a dinner party or two that happen during your stay and you are invited to join us. I love to cook and entertain. Other things to note This is a dog-friendly home. We have a French Bulldog named Lina and a Maltese Mix named Marley. I also do pet sitting, so there may be 1-2 other well-behaved dogs around. There is a tenant in the garage studio, Alexander, who takes care of the place when I am traveling.
