This charming Welsh cottage is located less than 1 mile from the famous Ty coch inn, in the beautiful fishing village of Porthdinllaen, Morfa Nefyn and the popular Nefyn Golf club. The heart of the cottage is the inglenook fireplace that was once the workplace of the local blacksmith, hence the name 'Yr Hen Efail', meaning 'The Old Smithy'. Centred around this is the cosy, sociable, open plan living, dining and kitchen space perfect for gatherings and relaxation. Sleeps 4-6 and pets are welcome. The space In the lounge area, there is a gas fire in a large inglenook fireplace which makes a great setting for cosy nights in. There are plenty of blankets and cushions for snuggling up and there is also central heating throughout the home. The lounge area also has a fold out sofa bed. In the open plan kitchen area is a large acacia table great for entertaining and dining. We have a fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, oven, 4 hobs, grill, slow cooker, many kitchen utensils and a washing machine and tumble dryer. The Master bedroom is to be found through a small corridor off the Lounge area. The ensuite has recently been renovated and has a waterfall shower, toilet and sink. All towels and bedding are provided. Upstairs you will find the second bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom can currently sleep 3 people, two sturdy single beds and one fold out steel frame bed ideally for a child or a small adult. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and sink. Please be aware that the upstairs space has low, sloping ceilings. Outside - We have parking for approximately 3 cars, and a large tiered garden to the rear with nice views. This area is secluded and is great for BBQ's and sunbathing, as it is a real sun-trap! Highchair and travel cot are also provided. Guest access Check in details will be provided nearer to your stay, when a code will be issued to access the key lock. Other things to note The cottage provides the perfect base location for exploring all that the Llyn peninsular has to offer; from the many beautiful beaches, to the Wales Coast Path and popular towns such as Abersoch and Aberdaron. The majestic mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) are less than an hour away too.
