Le Grand Logis is a studio, ideal for 2 people, with a separate entrance, located in the owners’ main building. 40-m² living room with kitchen, sleeping area (160 x 200 cm bed, 200 x 200 cm duvet), and bathroom. No television, but a flat-screen TV with DVD player are provided. Lovely sheltered terrace with a view of the forest. Sheets and linens not included, can be rented for €30 for the duration of the stay. Housekeeping and tidying up to be done before departure. Wifi. Notice to nature lovers! The space In the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park, at the gateway to the Désert, the studio is located in an exceptional 12th-century residence, surrounded by greenery and forests. The house is the Grand Logis, a building constructed by the Carthusians to accommodate the families of travellers entering the Chartreuse Desert. It is next to the Chapelle Saint-Bruno. The cottage is located at the start of several marked trails and is very close to the Monastère de la Grande Chartreuse (20-minute walk). We are a 20-minute walk from the centre of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse and a 5-minute walk from the “La Diat” bus stop. This location allows you to be close to all amenities while enjoying a very peaceful natural setting. You will find maps and other hiking guides in the cottage. And, of course, I remain at your disposal for recommendations on hikes, restaurants, equipment rental stores, or anything else you may need! Guest access Self-check-in is possible thanks to a key box. However, I try to make myself available to welcome you and get to know our guests. Guests can store hiking gear, ski equipment, or bicycles in the shed at the entrance to our property. Follow the directions in the listing to get right to our door! Other things to note Storage and end-of-stay cleaning is requested. If not, we will ask you for a contribution of 50 euros for tidying up and cleaning. For energy efficiency reasons, the heating is only turned on between mid-November and mid-April, at a temperature of 19 degrees.
