The rustic brick house from 1750 is located in the town of Kaarst on the beautiful Lower Rhine. The cottage with its 75 sqm is lovingly and cozily furnished and invites you to travel back in time to the "good old days". Within walking distance: town hall arcades with many shopping facilities, restaurants, ice cream parlor, city park with lake, cultural offerings such as Wednesday cinema and cabaret, as well as Lake Kaarst with beach. For climbing and winter sports enthusiasts, there is the famous ski hall in Neuss with many events. The space Clay walls, clay colors and oak planks give the brick house a cozy atmosphere. The self-catering cottage offers, in addition to the living room, a large covered terrace with dining table and chairs and a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. Smoking is allowed on the terrace. The cottage is equipped with a modern bathroom. The kitchen with table and chairs invites you to linger. As a sleeping option, the house offers a large double bed (200 x 200) in the bedroom and a comfortable high-quality sofa bed with mattress and slatted frame (140 x 200) in the living room. FYI: the living room is a walk-through room. Total rooms: bedroom, living room, hallway with desk, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove, induction plate, microwave, coffee machine, Senseo and kettle. The modern bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and integrated shower with a glass sliding door, toilet and sink. Guest access All areas of the house can be used. There is also a covered and secluded terrace, which is very popular with guests as an additional living space, especially in the warmer months. The terrace has a large dining table with chairs. Other things to note Kaarst is a small town with approx. 40,000 inhabitants. Within walking distance (about 200 m) from the cottage, there is a small farm shop where fruits, vegetables, cheese, sausage, etc. are offered. A small grove invites you to take a morning or evening walk and is about 150 m from the cottage. Attractions in KAARST and surroundings: Kaarst: Tuppenhof (Kaarst-Vorst): The Tuppenhof is a museum and meeting place for rural history and culture. Albert Einstein Forum in Kaarst: cultural program and Wednesday cinema. Kaarster See with sandy beach. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there is a farmers' market in the city center with the "rolling cafe" and French flair, restaurants, shops and park with small lake. Düsseldorf, the trade fair city: The state capital of Düsseldorf with its art museums, the old town on the Rhine, with the "longest counter in the world", the Rhine Tower (240.50 m) with breathtaking views over the old town, Medienhafen, Hofgarten, Rhine bridges is easily accessible. At an altitude of 170.50 m there is a glazed restaurant. Also attractive: Varieté Apollo, Aquazoo, Kunsthalle D'dorf, Tonhalle with great concerts, Altstadt am Rhein, Japanese Garden, Landtag NRW, Unterbacher See, Neanderthal Museum and the Puppet Theater, Schloss Benrath, to name just a few leisure events. Cologne: Cologne can be reached by train in 40 minutes. By car via the A57, you can also get there quickly. The city's landmark is the Gothic cathedral. Interesting: the Chocolate Museum, Museum Ludwig, Roman-Germanic Museum, the Love Bridge with 42,000 love locks, cafes, pubs and the water of Cologne "Kölsch", the heart of Cologne: the city center and much more.
