In the protected Vienna Forest Biosphere Park, our spacious detached house is located in a large garden on the edge of a small village, only 20 minutes by car from Vienna. In the immediate vicinity is a large forest area, and the neighboring village is Heiligenkreuz with the famous 700-year-old Cistercian monastery. The imperial hunting lodge Mayerling (tragedy around Crown Prince Rudolf) and the thermal town of Baden with the arrival through the lovely Helen Valley can be reached in short drives. The space The large and bright living room has a double door on a long south-facing balcony, a dining area with great views over the green hills of the Vienna Woods, a cozy tiled stove, a piano and a seating area. The house is located on a slope, and therefore there is a north-facing exit from the living room to a small shaded terrace and further into the back garden. This is lined with hedges and protected from the wind. On the same floor as the living room there is a modern and well equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom with tub, a toilet and a large north-facing bedroom. Right in the middle of the house are the stairs that lead to the upper floor. There is a central room with two king windows on the west, four smaller bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Each of the four bedrooms has a sloping ceiling on the edge and a skylight window in it, as well as a normal window. The basement at the front of the house has the ground-level main entrance with anteroom, corridor, heating and basement room, as well as two smaller rooms, which we use irregularly as hosts. In addition, a bathroom with toilet and washing machine, which is available for the guests. In front of the house or the south facade is a large terrace, which at the same time forms the roof of the garage. In front of the house is also a small terraced garden and a composting device for organic kitchen and garden waste. There is cherry and two apple trees throughout the garden, as well as some fir trees. The house is very quiet on a dead end street with no transit traffic. At the end of the cul-de-sac, a very large forested area begins, on whose forest roads you can hike for hours without meeting anyone. The house has some steps, parts of the front garden are not fenced, so it is not safe for smaller children to move around the property without supervision.
