The Middle House in the Court of the Learned King

The middle house is a fantastic house located in the center of the Court of the Learned King, with a breathtaking view of Lake Corbara. It overlooks the large 18-meter x 7-meter swimming pool, with two infinity sides and covered with tiles, salt water (the pool is open from June to September). From the porch you can enjoy very impressive sunsets and a view of the village of Acqualoreto, which is 1 km from the Court of the Learned King. PS: We are vaccinated for COVID-19 The space The "Casa di Mezzo" consists of an open space, with a kitchenette, equipped with a stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave, electric kettle, table, wood stove, sofa bed (160 x200), a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, wardrobe, television, a dressing room and a bathroom. The house has a large porch overlooking the pool furnished with a table for outdoor dining and a living room for relaxing moments watching the sunset. The porch can easily be enclosed by a net, an option that is of great interest to our four-legged friends. In winter, the house is heated with an independent radiator system or with the heating mode of the air conditioners. The house is cool but is still equipped with AIR CONDITIONING. It is located in the center of a property called Corte del Re dotto, which includes the large house where we live from May to October and two vacation homes, a very large garden with rose gardens, cypresses, fruit plants, a large saltwater pool the size of 18 m. X 7m with 2 infinity edges, up to 2.50 deep, covered with tiles, open from June to October, surrounded by a large space with comfortable sunbeds, large parasols, a gazebo, 2 beautiful masonry sofas with comfortable cushions from which to enjoy a fantastic view and unforgettable sunsets. In the large garden, there is a 1/2 basketball court with a basket at the regulation height. An olive grove, vineyard and two vegetable gardens allow us to let guests taste our products. In autumn, the garden is magically colored with the reds and yellows of the leaves and berries. After being inebriated with the spectacle of the sunset, it is pleasant to return home and have fun lighting the wood stove, slowly cooking a warm legume soup. The strategic location allows you to make daily excursions to all the characteristic Umbrian art cities and to quickly reach Rome, the eternal city that is only 140 km away. The charming village of Acqualoreto can also be reached on foot with a 1 km walk. Many foreign guests stay in our area and on Wednesday afternoons in the village square we all meet together for a multi-ethnic aperitif. I cook with passion and imagination and am available to prepare meals for guests. A curiosity: various works by Umbrian artists enrich the Casa di mezzo.
