Emily’s Sea-View Apartment is a part of the summer house that’s been in our family since the 16th century. it’s been renovated, combining modern and Mediterranean style, and stands just a few steps away from the sea. It’s ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday for small families or a gathering of friends, or a romantic getaway for couples. The space Emily’s Sea-View Apartment (30 m2) is located on the third floor of the building. It includes: ~ one bedroom (two beds, TV, a sofa and a coffee table, access to a bathroom) ~ a bathroom ~ and an open-concept kitchen with a dining room  The dining room provides a stunning view of the island’s bay, including beautiful castle towers from the 16th century, protected Croatian cultural monuments. This apartment has a separate entrance, so it is accessible through the main house or through the side street. Across the walkway is a 300 m2 outside area for you to enjoy. It includes a grapevine-shaded terrace, a large garden, and two old stone houses. The terrace offers a view of the sea and other islands, as well as Dubrovnik mainland. You will share a laundry room with our other guests. The staircase that leads to your apartment passes by the terrace of our Emily’s Terrace Apartment, which means that you may occasionally meet our guests sitting there. You can also use the separate entrance from behind the home. Guest access To reach the island, you will embark the ferry at the Dubrovnik port and travel via one of two routes: Dubrovnik-Lopud-Suđurađ or Dubrovnik-Koločep-Lopud-Suđurađ. Parking at the ferry port is free of charge and is located just a few minutes away from the property. Emily’s gift shop is located on the ground floor of the house. There you can shop for a local products such as olive oil, wine, and various Croatian liqueurs or pick up some small gifts for your loved ones. Other things to note Šipan belongs to a beautiful string of small Elaphite Islands, closely bound to Dubrovnik in both proximity and history. At a mere 16 km2 in size, it’s still the largest of the islands. The island is covered by Mediterranean vegetation and famous for the olive cultivation. The old olive mill is preserved and is now part of tavern, creatively called “Stara Mlinica” (The Old Mill) where you can taste local food and experience a piece of history inside. Worth visiting is the restaurant at the beautiful family hotel Božica, the only hotel at the island. For those seeking a touch of luxury or a potential encounter with world-famous celebrities, we recommend visiting the now-famous restaurant and beach ‘Bowa’. Enjoy cocktails at Priježba Beach or find one of the hidden bays for privacy and relaxation. Visit one of 34 churches or 42 castles around the island to experience the centuries-old history of the island. Visit the national park on the island of Mljet or the old town of Dubrovnik, or take one of several private boat tours to explore the surrounding islands.
