Walk to Taverna, groceries, coffee n pubs and friendly young n old folk! The space Ours is a cosy 2 storey originally built out of stone in the 19th century. Away from where tourism has brought its necessary evilness and just 13 kms from Corfu town is the ancient albeit buzzing village of Sinarades where our house is located. For nature lovers, artists, writers and culture lovers alike the stillness of life and the welcoming smiles and hospitality of folks here will shine through. The pristine Glyfada beach, stunning Pelakas sunsets and the awesome bay views along Agios Gordios are something to behold! Across the hills opposite ours are the magical villages of Kouramades, Kalafationes and Varipatades providing opportunities for charming gentle walks lined with olive trees You can cook, dine, chat, drink on the ground floor and work, study, read, sleep on the first floor of the house. There is a double bed on the second story ( as seen in the pic) and an extra foldable bed (basic one) left as your enter the house. Guest access A decently equipped kitchen, ac's , hot water shower, cupboards, study desks and our own little library . Pathways from the house to the main village road are reasonably lit for the night, but we recommend that you check-in during the day upon arrival. Other things to note There is a rope arrangement to hang dry clothes outside the house. Airconditioner's heat mode is what we use when it is cold. There is a car park leading up the village and is not too hard to find space at a few minutes walk down the road. There is a trash area as you exit the village (the locals can help you locate).
