Nature's Gate is the perfect for unwinding, unplugging and relaxation. Summer, fall and winter sports abound in the area. The famous Battenkill River for swimming, boating, fishing is just down the road for you to enjoy. The common rooms are all available for your use during your stay which include living room, dining room, kitchen (refrigerator space available), front and back decks. The quiet room / meditation and yoga room is available upon request and healing services are in the adjacent space located over the garage. Small pond with serene waterfall is lovely for a refreshing summer dip, or a wonderful place to meditate and enjoy the sounds of nature. The spacious lawns and 72 acres of woods with great trails are available for your enjoyment. Some lawn games (croquet and badminton) are available in the garage for your use. Nature's Gate is located on a quiet street and is set back from the main road offering privacy and sanctuary. We are in the farmlands of Southern Washington County amidst cornfields, rivers and lakes. For summer travelers the Battenkill river has an amazing swimming / fishing hole within minutes of the property. Wonderful biking, water adventures and hiking, or local shopping, music and lovely restaurants nearby. Summer and Fall festivals abound in the area and the Saratoga Horse Track is 45 minutes away. Winter travelers will enjoy the Hearthstone fireplace in the living room and X-Country skiing on the trails. Downhill skiing is available locally in Greenwich or at one of the many ski centers in Vermont or NY. Albany airport is a 1 hour drive, Nature's Gate is conveniently located off of Route 29 in East Greenwich, NY and easy access from the 87 throughway. If you prefer country driving, Route 22 or Route 29 are main access roads. The house is filled with light and has an open plan. Common rooms are available for use during your stay.
