Our small, nice basement room is located in a quiet residential and commercial building. The cozy room with double bed, large wardrobe and TV has a separate entrance and private bathroom. A kettle, filter coffee machine and a small refrigerator are available. Complete bed linens, towels, hair dryer, soap, toilet paper are included. In summer, there is a small seating area outside to relax/enjoy No Wi-Fi available! The space Our place is located in the middle of the Allgäu at an altitude of 820 m, and from here you have a magnificent mountain and lake view. It is located between the city of Kempten and Immenstadt, 1.5 km away from the "Niedersonthofener See", in 10 minutes you are in the middle of the city of Kempten if you want to have more variety. Numerous excursions are easily accessible from here by car: Kempten (the oldest documented city in Germany), Neuschwanstein Castle in Füssen and Hohenschwangau Castle; Oberstdorf with its ski jumping hill and the Nebelhorn, Lake Constance with the famous towns of Lindau and Konstanz; Munich. In summer, a lot of swimming lakes attract visitors (it is not for nothing that our Allgäu has been called the "lake country"); the Niedersonthofener swimming lake is almost "on the doorstep", less than 3 minutes away by car; wonderful hiking and mountain tours invite you to hike, play sports or just relax. In winter, there are numerous ski resorts such as: Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, Balderschwang, Ofterschwang, Eschach etc. The larger ski resorts towards Oberstdorf are approx. 40 min by car, the smaller ski resorts such as Eschach are approx. 20 min. away. The excursion to nearby Tyrol (e.g. Ifen, Söllereck, Walmendinger Horn) is also recommended – the possibilities are almost unlimited! On site, you can get fresh cow's milk from the farmer from cows that are still allowed to graze daily in summer. Guest access I, as a host, live about 100 meters away. No Wi-Fi available!
