Apartment in a beautiful medieval village a few kilometers from Taormina. Ideal for couples and families and for those who want to spend a holiday in the real Sicily, made of fragrances, flavors and breathtaking views. The space Situated on a hilltop between the beautiful Taormina and the medieval village of Savoca, Forza D'agrò offers its guests a magnificent view on the Sicilian coast. From his viewpoint, you can see the coast from Messina to Siracusa, Taormina and Castelmola, the bay of Giardini-Naxos and the imposing Vulcano Etna (the night spectacular if erupting). In 1971, the old town of Forza d'Agro (together with the nearby Savoca) was chosen by Francis Ford Coppola as the setting for several scenes in all the films in the saga of the Corleone family, from "The Godfather ". The house is located in the historic center of town, a few meters from the most important monuments: the Cattedral, the Augustinian convent, the church of the Holy Trinity and the Norman castle. The house can accommodate 2 to 4 persons, with 1 bedroom (1 double bed and one single bed), 2 bathrooms (1 small), a comfortable living room with a sofa bed for 2 persons and a cute balcony with view on the old town. The town, besides offering a spectacular view, is well known throughout Sicily for the culinary tasty, plentiful and cheap, that will delight your taste buds and make your stay unique. The resort is suitable for people who want a quiet beach holiday, both adventurers who may use the apartment as a base for their travel itineraries (Catania and Mount Etna or further afield such as Agrigento, Cefalù , Palermo), as well as for young people who will be able to enjoy the nightlife on numerous places along the coast. To fully enjoy the vacation we recommend you to reach the apartment by car (possibly by renting it at the airport) so in this way you can enjoy the surroundings with ease and according your needs. Guest access The guests will have the whole apartment (ground floor and 1st floor) in the historic center and all the availability of the Family Bongiorno, who in addition to accompany you to the house, will advise on restaurants, local and the best beaches of the place.
