Welcome to Fécamp, a city of art and history, 25 minutes from Etretat! You will stay in a complete apartment, organized on two floors (ground floor and 1st) in a small manor house that was once an old grocery store. The whole is bright, completely renovated and furnished for your comfort. Enjoy the many activities nearby. Beach and city center 5 min by car, bike path 300 m. Equestrian center, nautical base, swimming pool, gardens, shops... less than 1 km away. The space The apartment is located on the ground floor and 1st floor of a small manor house, which was once an old grocery store. Slightly set back from the city center (5 minutes by car), you will have no trouble parking (as can sometimes be the case in the city center and around the beach and the port) because the house has an adjoining private parking lot. It is an ideal compromise to explore the city and enjoy both the many possibilities for walking or cycling in the surrounding countryside, as well as the many charming small coastal villages that border our coastline. The bike path is 300 meters away (you can safely leave your bikes in the enclosed garden of the house). For your shopping, two supermarkets are less than 1 km away by car. The whole has been completely renovated with quality materials and thoughtfully designed to offer you an airy, sunny and fully equipped space, in which you will feel at home. On the ground floor you will find a pleasant living room (with sofa bed) open to the fitted kitchen and dining area. On the first floor, two bedrooms including a "Queen Size" double bed and its quality bedding as well as a second adjoining with two bunk beds. A shower room upstairs with toilet, vanity, walk-in shower. (The apartment has a second toilet on the ground floor). Everything you need is provided for you to cook: Fridge, small freezer, microwave, oven, induction stove, host, pans and pots, toaster, cooking utensils and knives (including for seafood lovers), cutlery, plates, glasses, cutting board, coffee maker, grocery background... From the ground floor, you will have access to the enclosed and wooded garden at the back of the house where you can enjoy the sun loungers, garden furniture, barbecue... for your meals and moments of relaxation in the open air! AT YOUR DISPOSAL: Connected TV, free high-speed WIFI, bed linen and towels, vacuum cleaner and household products, washing machine and dryer, access and landscaped garden with barbecue and garden furniture. NOT INCLUDED: Meals, shower gel, shampoo Guest access The accommodation is entirely dedicated to your use. Only the stairwell for access is shared. Other things to note Here are some suggestions for your tours and activities: Having always lived here, I will be happy to share with you my excellent knowledge of the region, my advice and tips for an original and personalized discovery of the surroundings. There are many other possibilities that I look forward to sharing with you. In Fécamp: Discover the Abbey of the Trinity or Cap Fagnet which offers a magnificent view of the sea and the city with a landscaped route among the many remains of the 2nd World War. I also suggest you visit the Benedictine, the fisheries museum (via the fish market if you like seafood). The waterfront walk and the beach are also very pleasant. For lovers of good food, don't hesitate to ask me about good restaurants. I'll be happy to advise you. For the more athletic among you, the GR21 that runs along the coast of Fécamp to Étretat offers splendid landscapes. On the other hand, the bike path is 300 meters from the apartment and you can rent your bikes 500 meters away at Coffee Bike. Nearby are also the nautical base (sailing and kayaking activities and introductions planned for children from 6 years old), the municipal swimming pool, Woody Park leisure park… Things nearby: Moving away from Fécamp towards Etretat, you can stop in small coastal villages typical of the area (Grainval, Yport, Vaucottes...). Going up the coast on the other side towards Dieppe, you should also go to Veules-les-Roses (most beautiful village in France), and if you have time you can go through Les Petites Dalles, Les Grandes Dalles, Saint-Pierre-en-Port, Veulettes-sur-Mer, Saint-Valéry-en-Caux… If your length of stay allows, Le Havre is an interesting stopover. The city is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, notably for its history and unique architecture. In the extension of the city on the other side of the Seine… Honfleur! Along the Seine, a multitude of villages are also worth a visit (Jumièges, St Wandrille Rançon, Villequier…), not to mention the city with the Hundred Bell Towers… Rouen! Whatever the period, the length of your stay, or the weather, the possibilities are endless!
