Description

In St. Ives, these private, self contained rooms are on the first floor of a recently renovated , granite former farmhouse. Both bedrooms overlook the pretty shared garden where guests can sit and enjoy the sunshine. They include a good sized bathroom. There is no kitchen . Set in a quiet residential area which is a fifteen minute walk from St. Ives town centre and harbour. Free designated parking for one car on the premises. The space There is a separate entrance on the garden side for guests to access the main building The rooms are reached by going up two internal flights of wide stairs with bannisters. This stairway has shared access with the guests staying in the room at the opposite end of the landing. Private and self contained, you will have use of the double en-suite bedroom with single bedroom leading off it. The bathroom is shared by by both bedrooms and accessed via the double room. There are coffee and tea making facilities and a mini fridge for cold drinks located in the double room but no other self catering facilities or kitchen. The double room is a good size with double bed and large wardrobe cupboard . In the area in front of the window are tub chairs, plus a coffee table The smaller room has a single bed, chair and freestanding wardrobe . There is one television in the larger room and wifi available in both rooms. The bathroom, private and for you only, is a good size and has a bath with shower, washbasin, heated towel rail ,toilet and storage cupboard. We provide towels, shampoo and shower gel. There is an iron and a hairdryer. Guest access Guest access is via the garden. Sensor lights for evenings. Key safe when we are not able to be there to show you in During your stay We live a ten minute drive away. We try when possible to meet guests on arrival, however when not possible or for late evening arrivals we also have a key safe . We will be at the property for periods most days doing change overs of other room/ next door flat or gardening. You can of course contact us for help by phone / message. Other things to note The guest in the single room has to walk through the double room to access the bathroom. Please note that other than coffee and tea making facilities and a small drinks fridge there are no other kitchen facilities. However there are plenty of breakfast options in St. Ives . As the house retains its original old wooden floors we ask guests to avoid excessive heavy foot fall or noise particularly early and late to avoid disturbing other guests in the building. We ask guests, who are very welcome to sit out in the garden ,to be considerate of other guests using it please. Bathroom completely private and only for your use. Tea and coffee making facilities and television are located in double room. Free parking on premises for one vehicle Please note that St. Ives town centre and harbour are situated at the bottom of a hill, so whilst a pleasant stroll into town there is a steepish walk back up. Plenty of taxis and buses available if needed. Please be aware that restaurants in St. Ives get booked up easily so it is advisable to book them well in advance. St. Ives tourist information website lists eating places and menus with contact details for bookings.
