This is a family beach located in Emerald Isle, NC. It is a very quiet location and super relaxing but also a short drive to several great towns with dining, shopping, and sightseeing!! The house is a duplex; one side is the rental unit and the other side is for owner’s use. The house sits up high and has great ocean views from the covered back porch! There are stairs from the backyard to the street, turn left, and then only about 4 houses down to the beach access stairs. Super convenient! This is a wonderful and cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath duplex. Cable, WIFI, enjoy the ocean views and breezes on the back porch, outdoor shower (enclosed with hot & cold water), washer/dryer, short walk to the beach, all the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay. Owner and family do spend some time at the owner's unit - normally day trips to the beach or evening cookouts. We are located midway on the island in a largely beach house rental area. There are some permanent residents near us. Fort Macon and Atlantic Beach are on one end of the island while Emerald Isle is on the other end. Shops, restaurants, mini golf, bumper boats, and water park near by. Towns of Swansboro, Morehead City, and Beaufort are nearby as well. There is a Dollar General 2 miles away (towards Emerald Isle) and another one about 4 miles aways (toward Atlantic Beach) for some basic needs. Emerald Isle has two large grocery stores -- Food Lion and Publix. Atlantic Beach also has a Food Lion. Salter Path (less than 2 miles away) has several restaurants, a few ice cream shops, a fabulous food truck (Captains Kitchen) that often parks at Island Encore Consignment Store on the weekends, Lost Treasure (mini golf, go carts, bumper boats), Big Oak Drive In, and Alberts on the Beach (ice cream, beach shop and even outdoor family dance parties on many Saturday nights!) There are many things on the Crystal Coast for you to enjoy. Dining, beautiful beaches, golfing, mini golf, water slide, Fort Macon tours, fishing just to name a few. Towns of Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach, Swansboro, Beaufort, Morehead City are all within a short driving distance and offer so many options!!
