Chalet at holiday park near Amsterdam

The vacation house has a kitchen with modern equipment (dishwasher, combination microwave, fridge-freezer) and has a spacious (30 m2) living room (with cable TV and WiFi), 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The house is located in the vacation park Spaarnwoude. This park - with covered pool, sauna, fitness room, restaurant, laundry and cafeteria - offers the luxury of a hotel and is located between Amsterdam and Haarlem, in the middle of the nature- and recreation area Spaarnwoude. The inventory does NOT have a blender, toaster and sandwich maker. These accessories cannot be kept clean and are missing for this reason. In the kitchen, upon arrival - for the same hygienic reasons - there are also NO spices (sugar, salt, pepper, oil, etc.). The European Union wants to reduce the use of disposable plastic. That is why Europarcs (the official landlord of this holiday park) recently decided to no longer prepare mini shampoo bottles. Guests must bring their own shampoo. Various additional accessories can be rented through the lobby of the holiday park, such as a crib and high chair. You can also go there for a hair dryer and iron for a fee. Handy to bring: enough dishwasher tablets for the entire stay, tea/coffee pods/instant coffee, spices for cooking such as oil, pepper, salt, sugar. Guest access Guests rent the entire home and therefore have access to all rooms. Other things to note [Check-in] Check-in time is on the day of arrival from 4 p.m. You can check in at the lobby of 'Brasserie Halverwege'. This is the stone building at the front by the entrance of the vacation park. When checking in, you must fill out a form in which you enter your identification details. It is also necessary to have the reservation number on hand. This is the number under which the reservation at the holiday resort is known. The number matches your name and the chalet you booked. You should have received the reservation number from me through Airbnb. Finally, you will receive the key to chalet 329 and a pass that allows you to pass through the barrier (if you are traveling by car). The price listed on the Airbnb site includes the use of bedding, tourist tax and final cleaning. So you will not owe any additional payments at check-in. Early check-in procedure | There is an option to check in earlier. The cleaning team may be asked to give priority to cleaning the home. This means you can check in at 1 p.m. (instead of 4 p.m.). This preferential treatment is subject to fees that you can pay at check-in. If you would like to use the earlier check-in, you must contact the park reception one day in advance to arrange this. Next to the reception is a restaurant where you can wait (and have something to eat or drink) should you arrive earlier. Late Arrival Procedure | If you arrive and the lobby is closed, you can use the key safe service to obtain the key to the chalet. The key safes are located on the left around the stone building next to the indoor pool. This allows you to arrive at any time (even at night). If you would like to use the key safe service, please let me know in advance. The code you need to open the safe will be provided on the day of arrival via the Airbnb email service. The next day you will be asked to officially check in at the park lobby. This is important because in the event of an emergency, the holiday park must be able to inform the emergency services which (and how many) guests are staying in the park. Security deposit | Please note that the park reception may require a security deposit. This is especially true for groups and for longer stays. In the Netherlands, it is customary for tenants to pay a security deposit. The purpose of the deposit is to ensure that you handle the rental property responsibly. The deposit is 400-600 euros. You can pay in cash or by pin. You will receive the deposit back upon departure. If you use the late check-in procedure, the holiday park may ask you to pay the deposit in advance (and not the next day after arrival). [Check-out] Check-out time is no later than 10 a.m. on the day of departure. After departure, the vacation home will be cleaned. Make sure all plates, glasses and cutlery are clean and the dishwasher is empty. Take all the garbage to the trash can outside and do not leave any personal belongings behind. The key and barrier pass can be handed in at the lobby. If the lobby is not open, you can leave the key and card in the chalet. [Your stay] You do not need to bring your own bedding for the stay. Bedding is provided by the park. There is also a (bath) towel set for each person. Dishwasher tablets are provided for the first 2 days of the stay. The holiday home has a Senseo coffee machine, but you need to bring your own coffee pads. If you travel using your own car, you can park your car next to the vacation home. Use of the indoor swimming pool is free during your stay. This also applies to the gym. To swim, you need an access pass. You will have received this at check-in. To rent a bike (for a day or several days), you can go to the lobby. You can also get the coins for the wellness and the laundry here. Smoking / vaping is not allowed.
