Description

I am an ancient stone house of 150 square meters arranged on three floors: on the ground floor, a kitchen and dining room; on the 1st floor, a double bedroom and 1 bathroom; on the 3rd floor, an open space with a double sofa bed and two single beds. I have a nice lawn at your disposal equipped with a barbecue, tables, chairs and deckchairs. Heating is provided by three powerful wood-burning stoves (included in the price). Pets are happily accepted! If you love nature, I won't let you down. Thanks to Roberto di Panavideo for portraying me The space It is an ancient annex of the manor house of the Tasso family that settled right here in the first half of the 1300s. This is where the name of this village comes from: Bretto dei Tasso. This ancient and famous family was the inventor of the Italian postal system that began right here, towards the Serenissima and towards Europe. The famous scholar Torquato Tasso was born and lived, like his ancestors, among these valleys. A small village, therefore, but with a past full of events. Its stone houses speak of an ancient story told in the frescoes of the precious church of San Ludovico di Tolosa located at the entrance to the village. The house is located at the end of the tiny village, at the beginning of the path that leads into the woods and descends towards the stream. Hence its name. It is exposed to the south, kissed by the sun from dawn to dusk. Its thick stone walls make it cool in summer and easily heated in winter with the help of three powerful wood-burning stoves. It is equipped with all amenities and a wifi network. For younger guests, a camping bed and high chair are available. For furry guests, a kennel and bowls. It is my home of the heart and I have tried to make it cozy and warm for me and for you who will come to visit it. Guest access Guests can leave their car at the beginning of the path that leads to the house (important: no access by car), which can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes. Everything is at your disposal: house, outdoor garden, barbecue. Other things to note The house does not have radiators, but it is heated through three wood stoves that I provide, included in the price and that you will find in the woodshed. If you are a lover of these ancient systems and are fascinated by the crackling of fire, this is the place for you, otherwise come in summer! Using the stoves means you have to spend a little time near them to light and fuel them. In winter, it is good that you arrive at least in the afternoon so that you have the necessary time to heat the house. For organizational reasons, I am unable to guarantee that the stoves will be lit before your arrival. Another important consideration: the house is not suitable for people who have walking problems. There are two internal flights of stairs to access the two floors, and you can't get to the house by car. A fun note but one to keep in mind: do not leave the attic windows open, especially when you are not at home, because squirrels and dormice can enter. Registration Details IT016048B4LRDN4ONJ
