Description
The Hameau de la Foux is a charming subdivision of about thirty chalets and a hotel with sauna and a shared pool of which we are co-owners. There is a small bowling ground just in front of the house and free parking. The village center is a 20-minute walk along a path along the river or by road... free shuttles run all day in season. The space Nordic wooden chalet for 6-8 people with an area of 75 m2 on 2 levels. It is surrounded by a garden with a large fixed wooden table. - on the first floor: 2 bedrooms and a mezzanine (2 double beds and 2 single beds) with shower, sink, toilet and a specific water heater for the shower. - on the ground floor: 1 bedroom with a double bed, bathroom and separate toilet, an open kitchen with hot plate, microwave with oven mode, fridge and dishwasher, a dining/living room with fireplace. The terrace is south facing with plastic table/chairs, wooden bench and armchairs and electric barbecue. Housekeeping is included in the rental rate. Linen rental: sheets, towels, tea towels and bath mats, is offered by our on-site representative Stephane Decrevel, who takes care of the reception. He will contact you before your arrival for details. Guest access Located at the arrival of the Foux d'Allos on your right in the Hamlet of Foux/Scandinavian Chalets, 140 km from Nice (2–2.30 h by car, 3 h by railway/bus from Nice) on the N202 towards Digne and then via Saint André les Alpes, Colmar and Allos (or via Colle Saint Michel). Other things to note The chalet is sized for 6 people in 3 bedrooms with closets and with an extra double bed in a mezzanine. An entrance hall and a storage/laundry room allow you to store shoes and sports equipment as well as a 9 kg washing machine. Wood for the Godin fireplace is available outside.
