Camper and Llamas

Do you prefer the company of llamas and wild animals in the wild to that of crowds? You'll love our little trailer. It is nestled in our 7 hectares of meadows, woods and scrubland, away from sight, noise, pollution... well in the sun in mid-season, in the shade of chestnut trees in hot weather. In the vicinity: wild rivers, medieval villages, hiking trails, climbing sites, paragliding... The space From 2010 to 2018, our friends Nadine (guitarist) and Paulo (violinist) toured the villages of the Ardèche mountains, with their tractor, this trailer, a band of musician friends and the marquee of their "travelling ball". Covered, comfortably furnished, this old laundry trailer is light, bright, cheerful, cozy and promotes, as in a teepee, direct contact with the surrounding nature. Inside: bed (140 x 190 – unsuitable for very large people!), kitchen area (supplied with spring water – we also provide you with a supply of guaranteed drinking water bottles), removable table, lighting + 12V socket, storage boxes but no auxiliary heating. Outside: snack areas, solar shower, 7 hectares of private land. 150 meters away, in a freely accessible room, adjoining our house: fridge/freezer, self-service washing machine, 220V electrical outlets, coolers. Plus, for occasional use: toilet, bathroom, WIFI, board or outdoor games (petanque, mölkky, Frisbee...), bicycles on request. Guest access Private parking + 150 meters of track, to be covered on foot or by mountain bike. Guides and maps of the many local hiking trails. In the vicinity: multiple and varied outdoor activities – fishing rivers, swimming, hiking of all levels – in the immediate vicinity, our town has marked 280 km of trails! – mountain biking, climbing sites, paragliding, many tourist and heritage sites to visit. We will offer you fruits and vegetables from our garden and, depending on the season, you can pick your own: cherries, strawberries, raspberries, plums, figs, apples, blackberries, hazelnuts, grapes, chestnuts, mushrooms... Other things to note Double bed 140 x 190 cm; we will ask you to come with your own bed linen and towels. You have everything you need on site to be self-catering: pillows, duvet & blankets, dishes, lighting, cooler and ice cubes... Domestic animals (llamas) and wild animals (badgers, wild boars, genets, weasels...) occasionally frequent the surroundings of the trailer. They are calm and peaceful, as long as you don't disturb them! We will ask you to leave the premises as clean and tidy as you found them - we will take care of the laundry and the "big cleaning" after your departure. In the event of significant disorder, €30 will be withheld from your deposit for cleaning and restoration costs.
