Set in scenic, peaceful riverside location pitched on decking our Emperor Bell Tent gives generous living & sleeping area to enjoy stunning river views & wildlife, then spectacular sunsets! Local fishing by arrangement! Fully equipped with basics (heater, towels, bedlinen basic food prep area - tap outside at tent entrance, fire pit, BBQ, turf parking adjacent tent) Own shower & WC in separate structure. Play frame, badminton , swing ball The space The Hideaway is set next to the river bank giving a lovely view over to our private island which is a nature lovers favourite. This is a quiet spot and visitors occasionally get to see otters, swans and the kingfisher. There is a steep bank down to the river. As the name suggest our Emperor Bell Tent is very large and offers a lovely camping experience - 6m by 4m with central height of 3m. It is accessed by a private track and is located in our private grounds adjacent to our home. Heavy duty waterproof PVC zipped in ground sheet. You can unzip and roll up the sides, handy for warm days. Semi circle zipped windows (with meshed mosquito nets) and air vents at the top to allow a gentle breeze on hot days. Attractive interior design which is also practical. Bed linen, towels and tea towels provided. A cot and highchair can be provided. The beds supplied are: 1 double futon, 1 double foam sofa bed, 1 single foam sofa bed, one fold down single visitors bed, according to the composition of your group. Well behaved dogs welcome but must be under owners control at all times but we charge £20 per visit to be paid on arrival unless paid through Airbnb. There are specific house rules regarding pets / dogs which must be adhered to (see additional rules) The price listed is for 4 people and there is an extra guests at a cost of £10 per person per night. Infants attract a charge of £5 per night if no bedding is supplied and £10 if bedding is to be supplied Other things to note There is a small fridge and a point to charge phones but no electric for other things such as hairdryers. There is no WIFI so guest may wish to download things prior to arrival. We can provide a small electric heater for which there is an extra charge of £5 per day ADDITIONAL RULES (1) No illegal drugs must be brought onto the property. (2) Shoes not to be worn on ground sheet (3) Quiet hours are 11pm to 7.30am. Please be considerate of others. (4) No additional guests may visit without prior permission of hosts. (5) Mattress protectors are provided and must be used in addition to sheets. (6) All rubbish must be removed and placed in the appropriate recycling bins. (7) All pillow cases and duvet covers must be removed and placed with sheets, mattress protectors and towels in the dirty laundry bag provided. Duvets and pillows should be put back into the bag they were found in. (8) All dishes should be washed and dried prior to departure. (9) The tent should be swept or vacuumed (the vacuum is in the storage box next to the WC) out prior to departure. PETS If you bring a dog or other pet it must be well behaved and there is a charge of £20 stay payable on arrival in cash unless you have specifically paid through airbnb and you must: 1) Ensure your pet does not get onto beds or chairs, 2) Ensure you remove all pet hair from the tent when you leave - there is a vacuum cleaner in the storage box next to the shower cabin. 3) Please keep your pet with you at all times and on a lead when outside the tent. Others including children live on the estate and must not be put at risk. 4) Bring your own pet bowls, bed and towels. 5) Ensure, in wet weather, that your pet is dried off before entering the tent. 6) All excrement must be disposed of correctly. 7) If extra cleaning is required this may be deducted from your deposit. 8) You must inform us prior to arrival if you are bringing a pet.
