Accommodation is unique and positioned in quiet Loke in the centre of Loddon town. 12 miles from Norwich, 14 from beaches. Part of a barn-conversion, the room has private entrance. Traditional English beamed ceiling, bright with window and double French doors overlooking lovely garden ( which you may use). Double bed, small wardrobe plus additional pegs for hanging. Table, chairs. Shower en-suite. Small breakfast bar/ work area. Kettle, fridge, continental breakfast supplies/utensils. The space This room is an extension to the barn which owner lives in. The accommodation is of a high standard. Bedding and towels are provided. There is a fan in the room to cool you down during the heatwave!! Doors open onto the garden to also cool you. There is private (off street) parking In the High Street should you bring a second car. You will be in the centre of town whilst having the feel of being in the country. Room overlooks 100ft garden laid to lawn with old Victorian wall separating two back gardens.; tall yew trees attracting lots of bird life. There is a patio area with table, umbrella and chairs where you may sit or entertain your guests. Loddon is on the Broads. Loddon Staithe on the river Yare is an idealic, scenic place to sit and watch the boats or have a picnic. The town has the following Amenities:- *. Newsagent *. Lit pathway to private back entrance. This room is totally self-contained. It would unfortunately not be suitable for wheelchair users due to pebble stones on ground in the Loke, highish gate lock, a step on back pathway and step also into the room. During your stay Guests are welcomed by host and shown back/ garden separate entrance and facilities explained Host usually available for enquiries and assistance Other things to note Private parking for ONE car only outside of garage. If more than one car- please park on adjoining High Street as all Loke spaces are allotted to owners and used by them. A basic light Breakfast (continental only) is provided. This consists of tea, coffee, sugar, milk biscuit , juice cereal or porridge . This will be left in your room/ fridge. Should you require croissants, brioche, bread, butter, jam, honey, fruit, cheese, yogurts etc. This can be arranged at a cost of £8pp each day. If guests staying more than two days, host will agree a time to bring replenishments to you on next and/following days. There are three places in Loddon who provide breakfast: The Terrace ( in High St) and Rosie Lees Cafe (also in the High Street within ‘The Angel’ (artisan pub opposite The Loke). ‘Spooncake’ cake shop also has a cafe behind the shop There is a coffee shop behind the Mill by the Staithe.
