Meadows at Stag Leap - Tiny touch of heaven!

This PET-FRIENDLY cottage is used primarily for extended stays, but is great for shorter stays as well. It's a compact space with everything you need in a lush forest setting. The cottage is very secluded from all of our other cabins. It shares a driveway with one other cabin. A grill and picnic table allow for outdoor dining, and a fire pit sets the ambiance for star-gazing at night. This cabin has a full-service kitchenette, queen bed, recliner, smart TV, Wi-Fi, and cell phone booster. The space We provide all the essentials and comforts of home. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, efficiency-sized 4-top stove/oven combo, cookware, and dining ware. We have tried to provide everything you'd need to prepare a full meal to a basic quick fix, but if something is missing or unavailable, we will be happy to accommodate any reasonable requests. A large armoire for hanging clothes and storage is provided, and you'll surely get a good night's sleep on our comfortable queen-sized bed. In the corner, there is a small table that doubles as dining and a desk area, and a leather recliner allows you to kick back and enjoy some TV time or reading. The bathroom is fully stocked with hygiene essentials. It has a large shower but no tub. This cabin is perfect for business travel. Free high-speed WiFi is provided (it is not fiber optics, but our guests have had no issues with it when streaming or doing work on their computers), and a cell phone booster assists with data connection services. Verizon seems to work better in this area, but our guests on AT&T or other networks haven't had an issue connecting. We have miles of nature trails to explore by foot or on a golf cart (for an additional charge). A beautiful creek runs through the property not far from the cottage. We are part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Pineywood Trail, so bird watching and other wildlife is abundant! ***IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS CABIN & OUR PROPERTY*** The Meadows cabin has a separate entrance from the property's main entrance and is shared by one other cabin. The hot tub, laundry room, and activity field are shared amenities. These are located past the main house, so you will likely want to drive to them. The hot tub may be reserved for an hour of private use; however, you do not have to reserve it to use it. All other amenities are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. We have a NO SMOKING/VAPING inside the cabin policy. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin, away from open doors and windows. Extra fees will be charged if we determine smoking has occurred inside the cabin. Guest access You have full access to your cabin and will be given directions to it upon checking in at the main house. A key will be in the cabin when you arrive so you can secure your belongings. This cottage has a separate driveway from the main entrance. It is a well-maintained gravel/dirt driveway with a manual privacy gate. On the main property (accessed by a different driveway), we have a hot tub and laundry facility available to our guests free of charge. These are shared areas, but you may reserve the hot tub for an hour of private use. So, while you're doing laundry, you can take a soak in the adjoining hot tub! Other things to note We have a 28-day minimum stay in the cabin, but we can occasionally accommodate shorter stays between reservations. If your dates show no availability, contact me to see if they are actually available. NOTE: Our nightly rate will increase for shorter stays, depending on the length of the stay, so be sure to ask about the rate when you inquire about the dates. Although we aren't very far from great places to eat, you may never want to leave the property once you arrive! Feel free to bring your own food or visit one of our local grocery stores to stock up for the weekend. We have tried to provide everything you'll need in the kitchen, but if something is missing, we will be happy to accommodate any reasonable requests. We are located just 10 miles outside of Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas, and 4 miles from beautiful Lake Nacogdoches, where you can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, and disc golf. Our area is full of history and offers many beautiful places to explore! We have six other cabins on the property, but they are spread out and tucked into natural surroundings to provide our guests with maximum privacy.
