Beautiful mas/house near Uzès with pool, Provence

Stunning and authentic Mas, close to the lovely towns of Uzès and Nîmes, located in the countryside. We welcome 12 people in 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms in our charming and comfortable house. The mas is built around a gorgeous stone courtyard with barbecue, planted with beautiful trees. You will enjoy great time at the swimming pool (11m*7m / 36*23feet), having lunch in the shade of the pool house. There are plenty of space for everyone to enjoy great vacations ! The space Beautiful provençal Mas from 1853, close to the lovely historic towns of Uzès, 20 minutes from Nîmes, less than 1 hour from Montpellier and the beach. Our Mas is an authentic emblem of Provence with stone courtyard, thick pale beige stone walls and terra cota tile roof. The villa has been thoroughly restored and equipped with modern comfort. The property is located in the countryside, a peaceful area with no close overlooking neighbors, at 3km to the next villages, down the hill of a medieval castle. The peace and the closeness of any conveniences are enjoyable. The villa can accommodate 12 people in 6 charming bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The mas is organized around a stunning courtyard planted with lime-trees which provide fresh and nice environment. Built-in stone bread and pizza oven and barbecue are available in the courtyard to enjoy great meals. A little fountain helps relaxing with freshness and water sounds. On the main floor are the main entrance, double living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room with rib-vaulted ceilings has two areas; one with a sofa and armchairs arranged in front of a large white stone fireplace and at the opposite a pool table. The dining room is large, perfect for convivial family meals, with a white fireplace, wooden beams ceiling, typical Provençal stones on the ground and French doors over the courtyard. It is next door to the kitchen. The kitchen is in Provençale style with wooden cupboards, worktop made of black stone and wooden beams, equipped with modern amenities. The main entrance with vaulted bay window displays a broad staircase rising to the first and second floor. On the first floor, are displayed 4 double bedrooms (3 queen size beds 160cm, 1 double size bed 140cm) and 1 single bedroom (120cm bed). 3 double bedrooms have ensuite bathroom and toilet. 1 double bedroom and 1 single bed room are sharing one bathroom and separate toilet. Each of the bedrooms is warmly furnished with simple but tastefully chosen furniture. 3 bedrooms have a balcony over the courtyard. One of them has a large stone fireplace. On the first floor, you will find a living room with a decorative fireplace with French doors opening on a cosy terrace over the courtyard. You can enjoy views on the medieval castle. From this living room, a wooden staircase rises up to the second floor, which is a mezzanine with one double bedroom (140cm bed) and one bathroom and a single bed. The original wooden beams give lots of character. It is possible to have a dormitory bedroom for kids with a double size bed and 2 single beds. The outdoor amenities are impressive. Garden is planted with superbs century olive trees, lime-trees, lemon and orange trees, lavenders and palm trees. The swimming pool and pool house are down below from house with its own summer kitchen. You will enjoy the large swimming pool (11m x 7m or 36feet*23feet) which benefits from the sun all day long. The pool house is equipped with a large dining table and a summer kitchen. The shaded large summer kitchen along the pool is equipped with a plancha to grill and prepare fabulous meals, a fridge to have fresh drinks at the pool and even a dishwasher. There is a dedicated pétanque ground and a ping pong table. The mas enjoys stretches of lands on each side of the house that can be used for outdoor games. There is wifi available. Our Mas is a wonderful house for occupancy at any time of year. In winter the new wooden fueled heating system is working very well. The 3 fireplaces are very enjoyable. The garden is also beautiful in winter and the courtyard very enjoyable. Guest access The whole house, swimming pool and garden are available to our guests.
