River Cabin w/Private Dock Near Crater Lake

Visiting Crater Lake National Park? Stay in our home on the Williamson River! Private dock to launch kayaks, canoes, SUPs, trout fishing or just take a swim. Wildlife watchers welcome: otters, eagles, swans, geese, ducks ... The space Enjoy views from the wrap-around deck, oversized windows and sliders of this clear, beautiful river. Modern kitchen with service for up to 10 people with all the amenities of home. Two bedrooms, a game room and loft. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The game room has a queen-sized sofa bed. The loft has a full-sized futon. Please note: to access the loft, you must climb a ladder (see photos). Two full bathrooms, each bathroom is equipped with fluffy towels, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. Easy parking for multiple cars. **Important to pick up groceries before arriving in town. There is one local market 2.6 miles from our home but the supplies are limited, specifically produce. Consider it a large convenience store. There are several restaurants in town, also limited. Kla-Mo-Ya Casino and Restaurant is 6 miles away. **For eco reasons, the only paper product we supply is toilet paper. We supply cloth napkins, terry dish towels and linen dish towels (to be used similar to paper towels). **Recycling: in Klamath County, the recycling separation from the garbage is done at the transfer facility. You are welcome to separate recyclables but it is not necessary. **Please note: there are active train tracks across the river, a 1/2 mile from our home. **We now have CenturyLink wifi!!! For other inside entertainment, we have added (and will continue to add) DVDs, card and board games, puzzles, books and PS3 (in the loft). **Location: We are 19.5 miles from the south entrance of Crater Lake National Park. Via Google Maps, that equates to 28 minutes. It is a nice, easy drive through pastures surrounded by beautiful mountains. Yes, there are closer places to stay and there are less expensive places to stay. We pride ourselves in the value and that our guests are doing more than Crater Lake. Our home is a peaceful respite on the river. A great place to come back to after a fun day outdoors. Guest access You will have access to the whole home, located on three riverfront acres. There is parking for 2-3 vehicles comfortably off the road. We use an electronic keypad for the duration of your stay. You do not need to download an app for this feature. Please bring (or rent) kayaks and/or stand-up paddleboards. It is fun to paddle around the river. It's a "lazy river" and fun to paddle down or up river! There is room to store your gear safely on the deck or directly underneath. Consider contacting Sky Lakes Wilderness Adventures to book all sorts of local fun--they will also deliver kayaks to our house for your stay. Other things to note Grocery and dining options are limited. Please consider bringing groceries--we provide a well-stocked kitchen with basic supplies (herbs, spices, flour, sugar) and appliances for your convenience. Now with CenturyLink WiFi!!!
