Located close to the centre of Templecombe Village, Hill House Cottage is a charming, self-contained wing of a Grade II listed early 18th century house. The property has been renovated to a high standard with exposed stonework, flagstone floors, and a lovely wood burning stove in the sitting room, creating a very special holiday accommodation. The cottage is within walking distance of a convenience store, the nearest pub is less than 1 mile away. The space This cosy cottage is an ideal retreat for those seeking a getaway in the countryside and is the perfect touring base for the many attractions nearby. We are only a short drive (within 30 minutes) from historic local towns of interest such as; Wincanton, Sherborne, Glastonbury, Bruton and Shaftesbury. A little further (45 minutes) and you can visit; Bath, Frome, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Stonehenge or the stunning Jurassic Coast. Our cottage has been lovingly renovated and furnished to an extremely high standard, cleverly combining lots of original character with contemporary convenience. Modern facilities include; Wi-Fi with high speed broadband, Smart TV with Freeview, Netflix and Catch-up TV. Patio doors lead to... >Small enclosed decking area to the side of the property with garden table and 4 x chairs. > Kitchen includes; electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a dining area with table and 4 x chairs in the kitchen. >Central heating throughout property >Smart TV, DVD Player, CD Player with radio, selection of books, games and DVD's >Travel cot and highchair available on request. >One well-behaved dog or pet is always welcome. Guest access Check-in is at 3pm and Check-out is at 10am (later on Sundays by request) We have fitted a Key Safe so that you can have contactless Check-in ( a code will be be sent to you 24 hours before arrival). There is a gravel driveway with a dedicated area for parking one car but we can accommodate two cars if needed. Other things to note The property is adjacent to a road so children and pets should be supervised when outside.
