This apartment is a cozy and spacious, one master bedroom and one smaller. The apartment is full of light, with a good kitchen with all amenities. We have a garden with a small patio with furniture and lots of grass to play on. Enjoy the quiet atmosphere and relax ! Note: We own a cat, so there might be traces of cat hair. The house has three apartments, one in the basement, our on the first floor and another one on the top floor. The entrance is shared with the neighbor upstairs. The apartment has 2 bedrooms for guests. One bedroom is used as a storage, marked private. The host or cohost are available for assistance 24/ 7. Skipasund is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the Laugardalur Park (700 m) where you can both enjoy the horticulture diversity or go to the amusement park with your kids. There they have animals and lots of fun things to do for kids. Kaffi Flóra is also there, a nice restaurant where you can sit out on a good and sunny day or stay inside if it is raining. Close to the Laugardalur park there is the swimming pool Laugardalslaug (1,9 km) with hot tubs and a play area for kids. Its nice to hang around in the hot tub, or to splash in the water slide with your kids! There is a nice family restaurant close to the swimming pool, Kaffi Dalur, with a playroom for kids. You can also sit outside. The apartment is also quite close to Elliðárdalur valley (3,5 km) which is an outdoor area with a nice river flowing down to the sea. There is a small supermarket just across the street (52 m) and a bigger one, Bónus in 10 minutes walk (147 m) The distance to the city center is about 5 km. Public transport in Reykjavík is by bus, there is a bus stop in 4 minutes walking distance (Bus nr. 14). Here you can see the bus schedule and where the buses are located: www.straeto. The apartment is very well situated in terms of transportation, there is a bus stop close by (5 min.walk) that takes you downtown (nr 14 ). We have a cat in the house, so there might be traces of cat hair, but we will do our best to clean the house thoroughly. Since this is our home, some of our personal belongings are ther, such as clothes and food in the cupboards. The apartment has a shared entrance with the apartment upstairs. Since the neighbors have kids, there might be some noise late in the afternoon.
