Set at the foot of the Mendips and part of a 4 lake fishery, this 3 bedroom cottage is positioned over looking the main lake to the front and the orchards on the Mendips to the rear. Private gated entrance to the grounds which stand at over 23 acres and include fields, walkways and fishery. Fully furnished and available to guests with impeccable taste. Safe parking, and free fishing on the course lake, with instruction and tackle provided if required. We have WiFi. The space Surrounded by lush green fields and sparkling lakes, the farm is a true haven for those who go there. The farmhouse itself is a charming blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. Its walls are made of local stone and its roof is covered in mossy shingles. The windows are large and inviting, letting in plenty of natural light and offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Inside, the farmhouse is cosy and inviting, with a large fireplace in the living room and a spacious kitchen that is perfect for cooking and entertaining. The bedrooms are comfortable and airy, with windows that let in the fresh country air. The farm is home to a variety of animals, including cats, sheep, goats, chickens, alpacas and geese. The nearby fields are filled with ripe apples and vegetables that are tended to by the farmers who live there. The lakes are a popular spot for fishing, and the nearby Mendip Hills are filled with hiking trails and picnic spots. The farmhouse is a true paradise, and we love nothing more than to wake up early in the morning, take a walk around the lakes, and watch the sun rise over the beautiful countryside. The property has 1 king-size bedroom with ensuite shower room. 1 large bedroom with 3 single beds and ensuite shower room. 1 very large room with 2 single beds with ensuite bathroom with clawfoot bath and shower. Guest access you can access all areas. Other things to note This is a get away, suited for walkers and cyclists and people to discover the beautiful surrounding areas. Its 2 miles to the nearest pub and set in a quiet and rural area, for a peaceful stay. In the day time its easy to travel around by car or foot but at night its quiet. Deliveroo do not deliver here or Uber Eats.
