Massassauga Park - Georgian Bay Boat Access

Spectacular views, gorgeous sunsets and deep, clear water in the heart of the Massassauga Provincial Park. The cottage is boat access only (NO ROAD ACCESS) - but is only a five minute boat ride from the marina. The cottage is a great blend of privacy and accessibility. The space The waterfront is a fantastic place to spend your days - with deep, clear water and afternoon sun. In the heart of the Massassauga Park, there are countless quiet bays and channels to explore by boat or canoe. The cottage is recently renovated and features a very well-equipped kitchen, a family room with great views, three comfortable bedrooms and a deck that wraps all the way around the cottage. A woodstove provides excellent heat on cool days, and on hot days, the cottage provides a cool cross breeze from the lake below. A bbq is provided for outdoor grilling. 8 comfortable Muskoka chairs are provided for soaking in the view from the waterfront, or the cottage dock. When you aren't outdoors, cozy up indoors with a good selection of board games and books for both adults and children. Or watch a movie on the TV and DVD player. There is no wi-fi but the cottage is equipped with a cell phone amplifier to improve internet access. Guest access Guests will need to arrange their own boat access to the cottage. Nearby Moon River Marina and Woods Bay Marina provide a water taxi and Woods Bay Marina rents aluminum boats. Other things to note Experienced boaters have access to beautiful day-trip destinations - including Honey Harbour (Beausoleil Island), Sans Souci (try famous Henry's Fish and Chips), Wreck Island, Killbear Provincial Park, and Parry Sound. It is a short boat ride to the 4 km Moon Island Trail at the Woods Bay Day Use Docks. Or, try Calhoun Lodge trail at Blackstone Harbour. Parry Sound and Mactier are the closest towns to access groceries and other amenities.
