Monroe Camp and Retreat Center is for group rentals only. McKnight Lodge is a great space for family gatherings, special occasions, and overnight guests. The building has wifi throughout and is divided into 3 sections. The front has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, as well as the kitchen, laundry, and a common area. The middle section is a large, open, multi-use space with a smart TV, and tables and chairs available. The back section has another 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, as well as another common area. The space For McKnight Lodge: We stock the kitchen with the basics for guests use: cups, plates, bowls, serving wear, utensils, pots and pans. A grill is available for guests to use (propane not included) and the front common area has a fully functional wood fireplace. The kitchen is equipped as a typical home kitchen and can accommodate meals for the 16 guests. Guest access Guests are welcome to walk the property, fish from the dock and shoreline, use our expansive fields for games such as kickball, soccer, softball and more. We have established games of bocce ball, horseshoes, tire swings, gaga pit, 9 square in the air, and more. Traditionally we are a summer camp for youth and focused on groups having fun! During warmer months, canoeing and swimming in the pool are available for an additional cost. Our facilities can be adapted for various group needs and sizes. Other things to note We are available for larger groups. and have cabins with heat and air available for larger groups. There are different prices for weddings, reunions, team building events, and youth groups, so please specify with the camp staff. Guided Program Activities such as the pool, lake, archery, ropes course and others are not included in the cost of the building, they are an additional charge. If you are interested in using those activities, advanced notice is required.
