The marina of Ponta Delgada, that provides a variety of nautical activities, such as whale watching and fishing, the swimming pool, Pesqueiro - another bathing area - and Portas do Mar, with restaurants and bars, are at a distance of 10 minutes walk, a journey made through promenade of the city. The historic center of Ponta Delgada can also be reached on foot in 15 minutes, also through the promenade of the city. The beaches and the Atlantic Park shopping center are a 5 minute drive.
