Perfect base for exploring Vienna! Located 1 min walk away to a subway station U1 and near to the main train station- Hauptbahnhof. You are just 10 min drive/ 4 subway stops away from the Stephans Dom and Viennese old town. The U1 subway line takes you straight to the 1st district, Vienna old town center. In summer - changing direction. 2 stops of U1 in the opposite direction gets you to the Danube Island the popular recreation area on the river Danube. The space The apartment is located in the side street, of the popular shopping area in 10th district, Favoritenstrasse. All stores, grocery shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are at the street as well as the Shopping Mall " Columbus Centre". For slow Food lovers there is a small food market to get fresh vegetables, fruits, spices and meats, close to the U1 Station, Keplerplatz. The flat is located in the 1st lift floor and is fully furnished and equipped. WiFi, TV with fire stick (Netflix available), dishwasher, coffee machine, iron station , washing machine, dryer machine is for your full disposal. In the living room there is an easy-extendable sofa, for the next two guests. The kitchen is stocked for cooks, with refrigerator, electric stove, electric kettle and coffee machine and set of pottery and cutlery. Some spices and tea and coffee and anything else you find in the cabinets are for your use. In case you cannot end up that open pasta box you bought, please consider to leave it for the next guests :) A big table welcomes you for your meals! The bathroom is stocked with towels, hand wash, shampoo and body wash. There is a hair dryer, washing machine and dryer. The bedroom with the master bed is decked in fresh linens and a window overlooking the street. In the wardrobe you can find additional blanket. There is a direct access to the bathroom. Other things to note Less good things to know before you check in: The apartment is located at the street so even though it is a reasonably peaceful one, there will be some city noise from life outside. If you are a light or late sleeper please consider the fact that the bedroom overlooks the road and you may notice the background sounds. Additionally at the moment there is a construction site nearby that might cause the potential noise. The work is carried only during the week days and within the working hours. In the evenings there is no work. When windows are closed, the city noice is cut off in the room however with an open window you might consider using ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Please use the water in the shower responsibly. The water drains slowly, extended showers with the water on its full capacity can cause flooding the bathroom as the drainage is slow. Please mind the wooden floor and refrain from wearing shoes in the flat. Especially high heels and black rubber soles can ruin the floor easily. For the same reason the moving around of the furniture is not allowed, please keep the original setting. There is a floor heating in the apartment. Please keep the original temperature setting in the clod months, It is set to 22 degrees Celsius. It takes a while util the flat gets warmer and even up to 48h to cool down the temperature, in case it is changed. Should you re-set the temperature above 24 degrees C, I would need to charge you extra Eur 30 for the additional heating cost. Please use the energy responsibly and remember to switch off lights and to close the windows when not in the flat.
